The name traces back to Doolittle Lake in Connecticut, where long summer afternoons were spent stitching side by side - moments of calm, creativity, and connection that continue to shape the spirit of the brand. 

Beth’s lifelong devotion to needlepoint, from her early training in London England to decades of design work, lends each canvas a sense of depth, precision and refinement. Her aesthetic is classic and rooted in tradition, but never bound by it. 

Beth is now happily joined by her daughters, Tess and Grace, who bring a new dimension to the studio. Through Hello Tess Designs, Tess introduces a more contemporary aesthetic to the line. Grace joins with a passion for stitching and a deep belief in the restorative, healing and stress relief that the meditative rhythm of stitching provides.
